Archive Museum
Imagine an archive museum struggling to digitize its catalog. Some archives, difficult to access, are virtually lost to oblivion.
Velma could design a database structured according to the museum's needs, easy to collaboratively update. The system would be future-proof (we use SANITY in 2024, but a tool change in 10 years would be possible without reintegrating the data).
Velma could then develop a website allowing full or partial access to these archives, via filters, directories, and digital exhibitions, either freely or with a login. This database could also be utilized by other partner institutions for their own archives if relevant.

Web Development School
Imagine a school offering web development courses that wants to stand out from competing schools by providing an enriched curriculum without excessively increasing the workload for its students.
Velma could create a workshop aimed at teaching best practices for developing an accessible website. Accessibility rules apply to both the website's semantic structure and its design. This course would help students understand the importance of these aspects of web development. Once these principles are understood, it becomes easier to systematically apply them.
These skills would enable them to create more aesthetically appealing websites, even without prior UX/UI design knowledge, and could help them stand out in the job market. Once the course is established with the school, it could be reintegrated for future cohorts.

Research Institute
Imagine a research institute facing difficulties in publishing their work, whether due to budgetary, logistical, or dissemination constraints.
Velma could design a customized digital publishing system. The institute could then publish its research at its own pace. Traditional publishing standards would be maintained—table of contents, footnotes, bibliography, etc.—all automated to significantly reduce human errors. Online access to these publications could be public or private (login system). This solution would allow the institute to save on recurring printing and formatting costs while facilitating dissemination (email, newsletters, social media) and archiving of their work.

Podcast Series
Imagine a podcast series struggling to present itself visually on social media and to grow its community.
Velma could create a striking visual identity to stand out on social media. A website would complement this online presence, reflecting the values, approach, and ambitions of the podcast series. Automatically updated by streaming platforms (Acast, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.) and supported by an effective SEO strategy, this site would enhance online visibility without adding to the workload.

Independent Bookstore
We know that independent bookstores are often run by (very) small teams who manage everything and face competition from giant bookstores in terms of distribution, pricing, and communication.
Velma could design an e-shop with a management interface that allows for stock management, order tracking, event management (book club, book signings, etc.), showcasing new book arrivals, and overall site management.
A strong social media communication strategy would also help build a community of readers without adding to the workload.
